bits and pieces

The weather has been fining up quite nicely lately... we have created our first vegetable garden

... we have some lettuce plants which started as 8 and we are now unfortunately down to just 2, carrots and 2 cherry tomato varieties. Oh and one of our tomato plants has two little ones already growing :)

We have booked tickets to Rihanna and Chris Brown, very excited about that - 11 November!!

We went down to the beach on Wednesday and soaked up the sunshine, perfect weather... if only is was that good all year round!
Cass successfully finished her ATP and made it through Young Women Camp!

We are planning to head back to Sydney to live for a while during June next year which will be nice, be closer to the family :)

Up to now...

Well... since we have been married we have been busy getting to know each other, fulfilling our callings and our studies.
We were able to go to the Philippines and Singapore with the fam (Scicluna) in Nov/Dec which was great. We got to shower from cold buckets of water and boy were they cold!! We also got to experience the culture and cuisine of the Filipino people. They are wonderful people!

Singapore is very clean and beautiful place, we will be heading there again in December ;o)

Spent Christmas in Sydney, went white water rafting with the family (Rance) which was scary for Cass... but Simon loved it!
For our first wedding anniversary we went down to Margaret River - nice lil' country town famous for its wine.
Haven't done anything too exciting since then.... although we did have our first family picnic recently!

We have some fun things planned though...
Cass has YW's camp in about a month
then we have Singapore in December
then the Rance's are coming for Christmas (YAY!)
and last but not least... we are going to Circus Du Soleil (Dralion) WOOOHOOO!
